Lounge: British Airways, International Terminal A, San Francisco International Airport

Date of visit: August 24, 2022

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

Pros: Spacious and quiet ambience, tiny crowds

Cons: Priority Pass guests must leave by 11:30 am, limited hot food

If you have an early flight out of SFO, stop by the British Airways lounge. Priority Pass guests have the run of the place until 11:30 am—at which time they’ll be politely removed by the lounge staff.

The buffet features two types of sandwiches, pastries and soup. Beverages are the standard fare: coffee machine, wine and beer. The flavored waters are a nice touch.

Tip: if you want more hot food options or spirits, go to the Air France lounge in the same terminal. But make sure you get there well before 11 am to guarantee entry!

Upon entering lounge, you’ll see a large buffet … with limited offerings
No competition for comfortable seats
Sandwiches, pastries and soup are neatly arranged
Bathrooms are spic and span
