Lounge: China Airlines Lounge, International Terminal A, San Francisco International

Dates of visit: December 2, 2024 and October 24, 2023

Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5

Pros: Solid hot buffet

Cons: Small size, limited hours for Priority passholders

As of December 2024, the China Airlines Lounge is officially open to Priority Passholders from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and it may be restricted from 6:00pm to 12:30am. On my December 2024 visit, I was denied entry at 11:00am but could enter at noon. On my October 2023 visit, I was able to enter at 6:30pm.

China Airlines Lounge is much smaller than its Priority Pass predecessors: Air France / KLM and British Airways. The food is decent. The alcohol options are limited and self-serve.

Seating is contained mostly in one medium-sized room
Dinner hot buffet includes ground pork, bok choy and rice; sandwiches and salad bar are also available
Taiwanese sesame noodles are available at certain times
