Lounge: Business Lounge, Sarajevo International Airport

Date of visit: September 5, 2022

Rating: 2 stars out of 5

Pros: Better than expected alcoholic beverages

Cons: Tiny space, no onsite bathrooms, limited food options

I visited this lounge in small Sarajevo International on a weekday morning. First, I was surprised that I was able to waltz in without registering. (The receptionist was away.) Second, I was surprised by the small space — the smallest Priority Pass lounge I’ve been in. It’s about the size of a conference room. The food options are minimal: sandwiches wrapped in cellophane along with a few sweet and savory snacks. The drink selections were far from modest, though: local red and white wines, Sarajevo Beer, soft drinks and coffee. Another plus: the wines are in 187 ml containers, easy to stow in your bag to enjoy at your gate.

Bottom line: I wouldn’t go out of my way for this lounge, and I didn’t have to: it’s right next to security.

Small seating area can accommodate a couple dozen guests
Buffet features conveniently packaged snacks and drinks
